With the adapter, you can both charge your smartphone with up to 7,5 watts (charging current: 1,7 A) and transfer data (480 MBit/s).

The adapter is basically intended as a spare part for this recable USB cable:

• USB C - C + Lightning (Apple)
• USB C - Micro USB
• USB C - Micro USB + Lightning

With the USB-A adapter for USB-C cables, you can use new USB-C cables with the “older” USB-A standard socket (you need this plug with the two rectangular holes) - the plug makes a C-USB cable compatible with the older USB-A standard.
Note: Some C-USB cables (not ours) are only intended for charging and cannot transfer data.

The wide range of colors makes an inconspicuous black or white C-USB cable unmistakable. The USB C to USB A adapter is available in purple, blue, yellow, green, orange, red, gray and, of course, black and white.
