The USB A connector can be used to repair a USB 2.0 cable.

This plug has an insulation displacement terminal. The strands are crimped to the connector. No soldering iron is required for assembly.

For the plug color, you can choose purple, blue, yellow, green, orange, red, black, gray and white heat shrink tube .

For our recable, the colorful heat shrink tube fits perfectly. But if you want to repair a USB cable that is thinner than 4 mm, we recommend you to order the compensation piece. Because the big heat shrink tube for the USB A plug "only" shrinks down to 4 mm ⌀.
